Primary education starts at the age of six and
lasts for six years. Most primary schools are of
full-time nowadays. Most primary schools adopts
Chinese the medium of instruction and English 
as their second language. The government's 
goal is to provide a balanced and diversified 
school education meets the diverse needs of 
students: Accumulation of knowledge, building
of values and devleopment of skills for future 
learning and personal growth; as well as to 
improve students' abilities in English, Chinese
and Cantonese. 

Students improve their general skills, values
and attitudes through a wide variety of learning
activities. As independent learners, schools
constantly adjust its core curriculum to meet
the needs of students. According to stuents'
strengths and experience, strengthening the
curriculum helps students develop lifelong 
learning ability and cultivate whole-person 
development.
