Studying in Switzerland

Switzerland has always maintained a world
-famous political and military neutrality in
history. Many international companies'
headquarters are located in Switzerland due
to its world-famous neutral position.

Switzerland has excellent geographical
location, it is to the north of Germany,
west of France,
south of Italy, and east
of Austria and Liechtenstein. Switzerland
is one of the richest countries
in the world
with the highest per capita wealth in
the world (except Monaco).

Education Background

Switzerland has a unique but diverser
education system, giving each state
independent authority
over the education
policy. Many public and private schools,
including private international schools,
are found in Switzerland. Majority of
primary eduaction starts at the age of 6,
but the provision of
pre-primary education
starts at the age of 4 or 5.

Primary education also varies from state
to state, ranging from four to six years.
Traditionally,
schools teach a foreign
language which is also an offical
language in Swizerland, but some
starts
teaching English as the first foreign
langauge since 2000.
