The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern 
Ireland is composed of England, Scotland, Wales and 
Northern Ireland. The U.K. is one of the most well-
developed tourist countries in the world, with famous 
cities including London, Cambridge, Brighton, 
Edinburgh and many more.

As the largest and one of the most international city in 
Europe, it has preserved many historic buildings and 
monuments,while ensuring the presence of parks and 
green spaces. Even with its rich historic background, 
it is a multi-cultural and open-minded society.

Climate:

The U.K. temperates ocean temperament, but often 
overcast. The average summer temperature is 17°C,
whereas spring and autumn lie between 8°C and 10°C 
in spring and autumn, with winter temperatures to be 
as low as 2°C to 7°C. Snowing usually happens in 
January and February.

Language: 

As the birthplace of English, the official is English.
In Wales, Welsh is used; and in Scotland, Gaelic is used.

flat plug.
